CNC Mill Machinist/Programmer - Monroe, MI
$25 to $29Â Per Hour - 2nd/PM Shift Position Summary:Â
The Machinist is responsible for Setting Up, Operating and Programming DynaPath and Haas CNC Mills.
Mastercam Proficiency is a Big Plus.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Must have personal Hand Tools.
Must have a general knowledge of machining practices and machinery.
Ability to work with Monroe management team to resolve issues
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Working Relationships:
The Machinist will work directly with the Plant Manager and Shop Personnel.
Qualifications and Education:
High School Diploma required
Journeyman Certification preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience in machine work
Knowledge of tooling and machining processes
Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings
Possess verbal and written communications skills
Must be focused on doing the job rightÂ

Physical Demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Â
Work Environment:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment can range from normal shop environments to industrial environments that are moderate to noisy.

Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 3 AM
11 Hour Shift with a Paid 1/2 Hour Lunch Break
Friday: 4 PM - 10 PM (6-Hour Shift) or 4 PM - 3 AM (11-Hour Shift) No Saturdays and Sundays Expected
Benefits: (Eligible 1st of Month following Start Date)
