Construction Carpenter Apprentice / Helper
Ypsilanti - Days - $18 to $24 Per Hour
This is a Full-Time / Long Term, Position primarily in Ypsilanti, MI and possibly in the Detroit and the Suburbs, working as a Construction Apprentice or Helper.
This person with work along side of a Journeyman Level Carpenter assisting in Construction Carpentry Tasks such as:
Rough & Framing Carpentry
Finish & Trim Carpentry
Hanging Drywall, Taping, Mudding, Prepping and Painting
Hanging Doors & Installing Windows, Trim, etc.
Kitchen, Bath, Basement Remodeling
Demolition
Removal and Replacement of Cabinets, Sinks, Appliances, Toilets, Tubs, etc.
Flood, Fire and Water and Storm Damage Restoration
Floors (Wood, Vinyl, Ceramic, Carpet, etc.)
Light Electrical (Lighting, Switches, Outlets, Pulling Wire, etc.)
Light Plumbing (Removal & Installation, Sinks, Tubs, Toilets, Hot &Cold Supply)
Decks
Roof and Ceiling Repair, etc.
PPE and Steel Toed Work Boots are required
Prior Construction, Building/Property Maintenance and basic Hand and Power Tools experience is required.
Wage Rate: $18 to $24 Per Hour, Determined after Job Site Interview
Shift: First
Hours: 7 AM to 4:30 PM
Note: Must have Current MDL, Auto Insurance and own reliable Transportation to Drive own Vehicle to/From Job Sites and possibly Drive a Company Vehicle.
