Machinery Maintenance & Repair Tech. - Taylor, MI
Flexible To Work All Shifts - $28 to $30 Per Hour
Start Date: Week of April 18 to April 24
Job Description:
- Pump Maintenance: 1" - 3" progressive cavity, diaphragm, & gear styles. Packing replacement & mechanical seal maintenance.
- Mixer Maintenance: shaft bearing, seals, glands, & packing replacement.
- Motor & Drive maintenance: Drive belt & chain replacement. coupler repair. gearbox reducer remove & disassemble. Motor plate adjustment
- Pneumatically actuated valve repair. Ball, gate, & butterfly styles
- Ability to install, cut, & thread pipe.
- Basic HVAC understating
- Basic electrical & wiring understanding
- Basic Air compressor understanding
- Basic water chiller understanding
- Basic Vacuum pump repair
- Basic home / office & maintenance
- Some welding skill
- Fork lift certification
- Valid Drivers License
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- +++ Experience in paint shops or other chemical plants
- ++ scale & load cell install & repair experience
- ++ PLC & sensor install & repair experience
- ++ hydraulic repair experience
- + overhead door repair
Will Start on First Shift, But A Flexible Schedule and Hours Is Required:
Monday through Friday, Frequent Saturdays Sundays.
1st Shift: 6 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday
2nd Shift: 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday
3rd Shift: 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday thru Thursday

This is a "Temp-To-Hire Position" after 90-Days in a Union Shop.
