Job Description:
Our Client is a build to order, custom manufacturing shop where the machinist is responsible for programming, fixturing, setup, and inspection.
They are looking for an experienced Machinist to join their team working in a
fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.
A successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-Years experience working with some of the following equipment.
Candidate should be a self-starter and possess strong computer skills.
We are looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented individual who loves working with his/her hands and is willing to learn multiple skills because working in a small business requires wearing many hats.

As a Machinist Setup/Operator, you will be a vital part of the manufacturing team, utilizing your expertise in blueprint reading, machine operation, and precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality machined parts.
Your proficiency in using Micrometers and Calipers will ensure precise measurements and adherence to specifications.
Strong organizational skills will be essential in setting up and operating the machines efficiently.
With a focus on computer skills and machining expertise, you will contribute to the production of precision components.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 40 - 50 Per Week
Typical Schedule: 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday Through Friday
Do Not Typically Work Weekends

- CNC Prototraks
- Moriseiki and Mazak manual lathes
- Manual Bridgeport
- Devlieg Boring Mills

We are looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented individual who loves working with his/her hands and is willing to learn multiple skills because working in a small business requires wearing many hats.
Responsibilities:
- Study drawings and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to manufacture products and determine product dimensions and tolerances.
- Calculate dimensions using knowledge of mathematics.
- Setup, adjust, and operate all machine tools, fixtures, and many specialized or advanced tools in order to perform precision machining operations.
- Machine product components to specifications using a variety of production equipment in accordance with established production schedule.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Good understanding of machining practices
- Good organizational skills and documentation
- Highly motivated, self-driven and problem solving mindset
- Set-up and operate machines including horizontal and vertical Milling machines, CNC machines, Bridgeport machines, and manual Lathes according to instructions, work packages, etc.
- Set-up machine to perform required operation and machine to specific tolerances.
- Check dimensions on first piece cut and periodically on other pieces and make machine adjustments as necessary.
- Review drawings for dimensions and other pertinent information.
- Deburr edges, holes, etc. and check dimensions and appearance.
- Use various precision measurement tools to verify tolerances, dimensions, etc.
- Equipment and tools you may work with include: Precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers, hand tools, gauges, drill presses, saws, forklifts, cranes and other lifting devices.
- Welding/Fabrication
- Keep work area neat and tidy.
