Manual Machinist Job Summary
We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team.
In this position, you will help us create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a Manual Lathe, Mill, Drill Press and Surface Grinder.
Our ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or earned a machinist certificate from a vocational school and has at least one year of manufacturing experience or has at least 10-Years in a manufacturing environment as a Machinist.
Duties and Responsibilities
$26 - $28 Per Hour, possibly more, determined following Job Site Interview.
Hours:
Monday through Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, but till 5:30 PM, as required and directed, is the norm.
Saturday: 7 AM to Noon or 1:30 PM frequently required.
When machining work is slow, this individual will also from time to time help out in other areas of the company such as:
Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Background Check Requires
Looking to fill this position within 2-Weeks, (Definitely After the July 4th Holiday)
This is a "Temp-To-Hire" Job Opportunity.

Manual Machinist Job Summary
We are looking for a Manual Machinist to join our team.
In this position, you will help us create tools and other components using a variety of equipment, such as a Manual Lathe, Mill, Drill Press and Surface Grinder.
Our ideal candidate has completed a training program through an industry apprenticeship or earned a machinist certificate from a vocational school and has at least one year of manufacturing experience or has at least 10-Years in a manufacturing environment as a Machinist.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Read Prints to determine what equipment and materials are necessary for the job
- Follow the Prints to create the appropriate tools and/or components/parts
- Operate the machines required for machining operations
- Finish projects using manual tools
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure they remain in good working order
- Able to read Micrometers, Calipers and various Test Equipment and Gages
- Manual Lathe machining experience
- Manual Mill machining experience
- Surface Grinder experience
- Printing Reading Proficiency
- Must be Proficient at reading Micrometers, Calipers, Gages, etc.
- Shop Math skills
- Must own basic tools of the Trade
- At least 10-Years in a Manufacturing Environment
- Welding Skills, Mig & Tig, are a Big Plus, but Not Required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be a Team Player and Follow Directions
- Be willing to work overtime when required
- Must be Reliable and have dependable Transportation
