Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift - Livonia - $16 to $17 Per Hour
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Role
The Warehouse Associate’s primary role is to support the warehouse and yard operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Arrive on time and be ready to perform job duties
Receive, unpack, check, and store materials
Communicate with the Warehouse to ensure everything is unloaded for outgoing and incoming shipments
Assist with loading and unloading route trucks and freight trucks
Assist with routing drivers and untying when necessary
Organize and put away all inventory and restock in the appropriate location
Use the scanner for all returns
Assist with processing returns
Accurately determine ordering needs and follow the purchasing procedure; including gathering items required by field personnel
Maintain the safety inspection procedure
Wear radio at all times and ensure it is charged
Follow paperwork procedure and ensure paperwork is filed in an orderly manner
Fill requisitions and orders by packing, crating, and shipping products and materials to job sites
Maintain current inventory and provide supervisor with inventory for items needed
Assist with snow removal as necessary
Operate forklift when necessary
Any other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
Good communication, organizational and time management skills
Solid inventory and documentation skills
Construction experience and HiLo operating experience are preferred
Physical strength and ability to move materials repeatedly
Experience:
Construction experience and HiLo operating experience is preferred.
2+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
Education:
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent

The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
Job/Placement Details: Shift: First/Day
Schedule: First Shift: Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Overtime Policy: Paid over 40-Hours Worked in a week, Sunday through Saturday, at Time and a Half.
Overtime Schedule: 5 AM to 3:30 PM, as required and Directed
Wage: $16 to $18 Per Hour A Pre-Placement Job Site Interview Warehouse Manager is Required
